Thank you for your thought-provoking article. Even as someone who has been a Christian my whole life and can claim all the bona fides (graduation from a church-sponsored college, teaching adult classes, and so on), I've becoming increasingly disillusions with the power of Christianity to change, well, much of anything. Why has it seemed that during the pandemic, for example, the call to love our neighbor (by socially distancing, wearing a mask, etc.) hasn't been coming predomimantly from Christians but from the secularists among us? It seems like we Christians have become the very type of people the Old Testament prophets warned us about.
